Deka Immobilien has acquired logistics projects near Rotterdam, in the Netherlands, and Niederaula, Germany.
The Netherlands property at Alblasserdam consists of a logistics warehouse and an office block. It was bought for more than €80 million. The seller was Dutch real estate developer, Dudok Real Estate.
The new building, which covers almost 37,000 square meters, is due to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2023. It will be added to the portfolio of the open-ended real estate fund Deka-ImmobilienEuropa. The building is fully leased to Peute Recycling B.V. on a long-term basis as its headquarters.
The roof of the premium-quality new build is designed for the installation of a large-scale PV system and the energy will be delivered back to the tenant as much as possible. The building is certified as “Very good” under BREEAM In-Use, the British quality mark for sustainable building.
The Germany logistics property MultiBusinessHub is in Niederaula, Hesse. It has been bought for a special fund. The seller and client who commissioned the building is Lang & Cie Industrial AG, a project developer specialising in logistics real estate. The purchase price is not being disclosed.
The sustainable new building of more than 18,000 square meters was recently completed. The logistics service provider Advastore SE has leased the entire property on a long-term basis.
MultiBusinessHub is in the East Hessian municipality of Niederaula between the Kirchheimer and Hattenbach junctions. DGNB Gold certification for sustainable construction is being sought for the building.
