Strategic acquisition from Peach Property Group enhances GTC’s presence in Germany, adds over 324,000 sqm of leasable space
GTC Group’s management board has announced a landmark acquisition of a residential portfolio from Peach Property Group. This strategic purchase includes properties in the German cities of Kaiserslautern, Helmstedt, and Heidenheim. The portfolio comprises 5,165 residential units, 47 commercial units, 71 other units, and 2,108 parking units, totaling a leasable area of 324,167 sqm.
The adjusted property value for the portfolio stands at approximately €448 million, based on full ownership. This acquisition marks a significant expansion of GTC’s presence in Germany, now accounting for 19% of the group’s combined gross asset value and 30% of its rental area.
GTC Group intends to upgrade the acquired properties, enhancing their appeal and market value. The company plans to sell part of the residential units at improved prices, aligning with its strategy to maximize returns.
This transaction underscores GTC’s commitment to growing its portfolio in Germany, capitalizing on opportunities to strengthen its presence in the market and optimize its asset base.
