A family office has bought a distribution center in the TrafficPort business park in Venlo, the Netherlands, through sale and leaseback.
The seller was Seacon Logistics and the warehouse was leased back long-term.
The state-of-the-art Venlo distribution center is around 50,000 square meters. It is in a prominent location along the A67 and is used as a warehouse to store solar panels.
The asset has a solar roof, BREEAM Very Good certification, A+++++ EPC label, and ecological facilities to promote flora and fauna, such as a green facade.
Additionally, the design considered the option of renting to multiple tenants by creating three fully independently operating warehouse units.
TLF Real Estate, CMS and DENC advised Seacon Logistics. The family office was advised by NL real estate, Knight Frank, Greenberg Traurig and 2CN.
