The Capitalica Green Logistics Fund has completed its second investment in Latvia, and diversified its portfolio to five logistic properties already!
The fund acquired a 5,647 square meter stock-office center in Dreilini, Vidzeme, a suburb of Riga and a prime logistics location.
The new commercial property diversifies the Fund’s portfolio, which has there complexes in Estonia and also two in Latvia.
Mindaugas Liaudanskas, Fund Manager of Green Logistics Fund says, “With the limited logistic properties supply in the Latvian capital, it will leverage our expertise to maximize the potential for the fund’s growth. The new acquisition combines warehouse, office and showroom space in one facility. This format continuously grows in urban areas, and we are confident the new property will generate attractive returns for our investors.”
The newly acquired property is 100% leased to two main tenants, well-known companies in Latvia – LicGotus and also GRIFS AG.
The Dreilini area is considered one of the best locations for logistics in Riga due to its strategic position on the densely populated side of the city, excellent transport links, and also location in the town. It provides easy access to the Old Town (20 min), Via Baltica (5 min), and also the upcoming Salaspils intermodal freight terminal (20 min).
