In its search for added value for investors, Newgate Investment has bought retail park Ozimska Park in Poland from Redkom Development.
Ozimska Park, which has a Gross Leaseable Area (GLA) of 17,000 square meters, is in Opole. The price was not revealed.
It features 28 retail and service outlets including a revitalized Tesco hypermarket and Kaufland store and almost 500 parking spaces. Ozimska Park, which was completed in late 2023, won a European Property Award for the Retail Architecture Poland category.
Legal company Gide Warsaw advised Redkom Development on the sale. It also supported the developer on the sale of a retail park in Bielsko-Biała in April.
Redkom Development specialises in large retail parks in Poland, Romania and Spain, through both greenfield and brownfield investments. So far in 2024, it has sold property in Poland with 45,000 square meters GLA.
Newgate Investment’s portfolio consists of 33 retail properties worth almost €300 million with more than 150,000 square meters of leasable space.
