Investment fund manager Deka Immobilien has sold an Amsterdam office building after 22 years.
The buyer is reported to be independent investment group, Buysse & Partners.
Built in the 17th century, Herengracht 531-537 is in the Amsterdam canal belt and features an Art Nouveau façade by J.P.H. de Man.
It has 4,481 square meters of office space, 25 parking spaces – an exception for buildings of this type – and is fully leased to the Insinger Gilissen bank.
The historic Amsterdam office building is listed as a municipal monument, combining high-quality office and archive spaces.
It is in the most sought-after investment area in the center of Amsterdam near the vibrant Rembrandtplein. Surrounded by charming 17th-century houses, the area offers residential and commercial properties, cultural attractions, and shopping opportunities.
The building has excellent transport links. Metro and tram lines are a minute’s walk away, and Amsterdam Central Station is within a 5-minute bike ride. Schiphol Airport is only 20 minutes away by car or public transport.
With an Energy Performance Certificate of Class C, the building demonstrates a commitment to sustainability.
